Our client was a professional sports team interested in predicting their game-level attendance more accurately. Members scraped over 165 variables from numerous websites and analyzed the data using regression models in Excel, Radiant, and Python. Ultimately, Members identified key factors impacting attendance and was thus able to predict attendance with 92% accuracy against historical data. To ensure its accuracy over time, Members designed two fully automated dashboards in both Excel and Jupyter notebook that allowed our client to monitor its attendance predictions on a daily, monthly, and annual basis.

Our client was a professional orchestra that wanted to improve its after-school music education program. Members was tasked with building strategies to increase student enrollment and measure program effectiveness. The team performed a competitor analysis, scraped social media accounts of peers, and analyzed zip code heat maps of enrollees to build recruiting strategies tailored to specific areas. Lastly, the team constructed a survey to gain insight into student outcomes over time. The team delivered all components of the project through a final report, ultimately helping this after-school program improve on multiple fronts.

Our client was a newly opened entertainment venue in downtown Ann Arbor. Members was tasked with determining how to attract students to the venue and develop an effective marketing plan. The team performed and analyzed market research through surveys, conducted competitor analyses, and created a detailed marketing plan, including social media graphics and e-mail marketing strategies. These findings will ultimately allow the client to identify which segment of the student population is most profitable and improve its marketing efforts in order to drive more traffic into the venue.

Our client was a recently founded company focused on introducing automated cocktail dispensing to the food & beverage market. Our client's flagship product is able to output nine cocktails per minute, providing tremendous value to high-throughput restaurants and bars. Members was initially tasked with building out a price elasticity model through a variety of case studies in order to improve the client's understanding of the market before the product's release. However, after a few case studies, COVID-19 swept the nation and subsequently caused all restaurants and bars to suspend business indefinitely. In order to continue providing value to our client, Members shifted the project scope by developing marketing recommendations and launch tactics through remote research.
